Looking at the representation of Director and Writer Ava DuVernay, Actress Tracee Ellis Ross and Producer, writer and actress Issa Rae in Glamour, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire vs Essence
I’m gonna look at articles were there name is just mentioned, articles were they are mentioned in a group of individuals but still specifically discussed and articles only about them. Using the advance search “site:www.website.com search term” e.g. “site:www.marieclaire.co.uk Ava Duvernay”

After doing the three mainstream magazines I realized I had to change the table as there was only one search page from for Ava but 10 for Ava and It would take me forever to go through all the content for all three women. So I’ve decided to look at how many google search pages there are for each woman for each of the given magazine sites – inc both US/UK all three women are from the US so it makes sense to look at how they presented in the US also even though I’m looking from a UK POV.
